What Readers Are Saying
A new super-race of dolphins evolves to find a way to stop man’s destruction of the environment. This was one of those fascinating reads that I started wishing might be a true story. Outstanding!
Fantastic! Ganas’ imagination is incredible! In the story, the dolphins and their human counterparts clone a new organism by combining a sea cucumber with a coelenterate. The resulting organism is 12 feet in diameter, sucks up deep sea nutrients with long root-like tentacles, then exhales hydrogen gas and defecates gold. Perfect!
Some of the passages in this book were incredible with their detail of Hatian Voodoo or Vaudun as it is called in the book. Also, the mind-meld scene where the dolphins reveal the true nature of reality to one of the main characters, Jake Javolyn, was astounding. Once I started reading book 1 I was hooked and now I am up to book 3 in the series.
This book was very interesting in its ability to show how mankind might react to something like the floating Island of Aquaria described in the book as a self-sufficient colony of ecologically-minded people. The powerful dolphin artwork causes a reaction, extremely good or extremely bad, for anyone who views it depending if their true nature is good or evil. This book was fun to read and audacious in its views on the nature of humanity.
